@Jennytmuw

Hey Jennytmuw, sorry about Austin. I believe you are the one Gretchen told me about, I also got accepted to El Paso I also stay in Houston and will be relocating to El Paso. I'm hoping you're still considering El Paso because I believe there's still a spot for you and it would be nice to have someone along from Houston, best of luck with everything.

Hi [COLOR=#003366]akpezi !! You're from Houston too!! That's awesome!! Have you turned in the documents needed for El Paso?

Did you ever consider staying in Houston by any chance? It's nice to meet you! :woot:

@Jennytmuw Nice meeting you too! I have everything done including the titers test and vaccines but haven't turned them in yet. I have been more focused on getting a place to stay and other accepted students have been very helpful with suggestions about housing. A girl in the current cohort at El Paso (graduating this dec) from Houston also, gave me alot of insight and advice on the program so I'm ready to start in Jan but I just got accepted to UTMB Galveston 3days ago :yes: and I have decided to go there instead since its just an hr away from me. I believe 3 of us got accepted from Houston and the third was accepted to UT health. If not for the current change I would be on board for El Paso since I have everything ready including financial aid. I think you should still consider it despite the distance, the other accepted students are very nice and are willing to help with anything.

Specializes in BS, RDMS, RVT.

This may be a stupid question, but I'm looking into applying for Spring 2015. Where do you go to take the TEAS test? And how much is it?

There is a list if locations somewhere on their website. I don't remember exactly, but I do remember it was a bit tricky to find. I think it costs around 100-120. Sorry, don't remember exactly

I was in the 2nd-Degree program and have decided to withdraw from the program after the 1st semester. I have equipments and scrubs for sale now that these items serve me no purpose! i.e., stethoscope, watch (new), books (textbooks & e-books), scrubs (size xs-s and some unworn), lab coat (unworn), etc. PM me if you need any these items!
