Texas Tech 2nd degree BSN program 2015
Hi Flyonn! I'm thinking about doing the Texas Tech program here in Dallas. I'm currently an ultrasound tech (for 2 years), but LOVE nursing and interacting with the patients. Would you mind emailing me so I don't clog up this forum with probably the million questions I have? :) leigh6870 at yahoo dot com

Hi SicEm! I would love if you could keep in touch with me maybe email or something to let me know how you like it? I couldn't apply this round, but will the next one for Dallas. Also, how was the TEAS? I need to take that, but have everything else done. :) My email is leigh6870 at yahoo dot com

Brookhaven College Spring 2015 Applicants
Hi y'all! So, I totally forgot that I had posted this! I took my HESI and got an 84. Ugh! I've wanted to be a nurse for a really long time and am currently an ultrasound tech, but want to switch. Hoping it happens eventually. I have overall 23 points. Boo.

DFW area hiring ADN new grads?
I am looking at going back to school for my degree in Nursing. I already have 2 Bachelors Degrees and was planning on getting my ADN locally at a Community College (Collin College, Brookhaven, El Centro or Northlake) , because financially it is cheaper. After getting my ADN I was going to complete my BSN online since there are plenty of schools in Texas that offer this. I eventually want to work in Newborn Nursery and would take a post-partum, ante-partum, L&D job in Women's Services as a new grad to get my foot in the door. So in the DFW area, are hospitals hiring new grads without their BSN? What if I were to already be enrolled in a BSN program when I graduate? I don't want to waste my time getting an ADN when they won't hire me out of school. Thank you!

This may be a stupid question, but I'm looking into applying for Spring 2015. Where do you go to take the TEAS test? And how much is it?
