I plan to attend the nursing program in Fall '13. I only have six more pre-reqs to complete. I need advice on the program because I'm so scared of what to expect. Should I apply this semester or wait until my pre-reqs are done? I plan to take the TEAS test this semester. I'm also unsure of should I go to Lowenburg or Southwest. The reason is because I really need to start making good money soon since I don't have outside help. Is it possible to work full time while in nursing school? Someone please give me your thoughts! Thanks! :-)

Hello LT Louis, I wanted to PM you for the information on the funding source but I'm not allowed to use the PM service. Could you please PM or email me the info [email protected] Thank You

Has everyone been notified for fall of 2013?

Union is going to run about 65K for the ABSN program! I was trying for their traditional program but because of my age (28) they preferred me in the ABSN program....ADHD and ABSN just don't mix well!!!!

Where did you hear $65,000? The program coordinator told me $34,320 for my 66 credits. It's $520 per credit hour for the BSNA.

...unless you have to take all general courses + nursing courses... that sounds about right BUT the "nursing program" itself is not $65,000! LOL and if it were I would skip that offer!!!

They want you in the adult studies program because you are over 25. The traditional program is for people coming out of high school. I start at Union in August in the BSNA adult studies program and I'm 24!

One year of Traditional classes ran about #34,000.......I had a lot of friends in the ABSN that graduated in DEC. after everything is said and done it will run close to that

Ok I'm really confused! I was told that a $40,000 loan would cover tuition, books, uniforms, and other materials needed for the 15 month program. Once again...the traditional program would be higher, but I trust that the coordinator knows what she is talking about since it is her job to guide me and others through this process. I will keep what you said in mind though. Thank you.

Hi ladies, I know it's been a while, but does anyone remember how long they waited before they found out if they were accepted or not into the University of Memphis???
