Let's start a new thread for the spring 2015 hopefuls ! Let's share our journey

@southwest_nursing, I don't think she was specifically referring to any of your statements being disrespectful but reminding us about our post content. I took it as giving us a heads up just in case we mispeak or get frustrated at anytime while posting. :-)

Ok I was a lil confused good question by the way I wanna know how many applied also ! I don't think they give out index scores until after notifications are sent out @msreed10

Thanks for the feedback @Nikkih901. It is greatly appreciated! By any chance do you know how many applications for considered? Lowest index score? :nailbiting: I'm probably reaching but it doesn't hurt to ask.
There are always tons of applicants each year that apply to the nursing program each semester because the truth is...everyone wants to be a nurse. From what I know, over 300 people applied.
Specializes in ED/ICU.

Hi nikkih901. Would you mind sharing your 1st semester experience if you did the night/weekend program. Is there anything that stands out that you wish you would have known before hand? Did you work, have family responsibilities, etc? Your input is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Omg that's way more than last spring

There were well over 500 applicants when I applied. There are usually even MORE for the Spring class. :nailbiting:

Like how do they choose? @cupcake310

Thanks to all of the helpful past or current students with the advice! It's def been a waiting game, but I've yet to makes call or ask anything lol I look at it as, I did what I needed to do and applied and praying my hard work pays off! So, hoping to hear good news, whenever that may be. I know everyone works so hard to get into this program and I wish everyone the best of luck!

You are very welcome hankia1. I can't wait to see you post the good news. I'm rooting for you. Good luck darling.

As far as acceptance --- Well, they start at the top and work their way down on index scores. Let's say you and another applicant have the same index score.. Whoever turned their app in first gets in. If you turned it in on the same day.. Well.. I hope your spelling and grammar are on point because whoever has the better essay (as in using proper English) will get in.

Wow I'm really nervous now but to all of you ladies who ever gets in I wish you all the best!

Best of luck to everyone!
