which memphis hospital would you be a patient?

if you or someone close to you were to be hospitalized, which hospital would you choose (given the possibility)? there are several large hospitals here in the memphis area, some with better reputations than others. now, you don't have to say that you work for such and such hospital, just which one you would choose. also, maybe you care to say which ones you'd care to avoid.

The only one I would avoid is the VA. Most of us are prisoners of our insurance companies and their preferred providers. If that were not a problem I would rank Baptist first with Methodist a close second. (full disclosure, I work at Methodist)

I suppose it would depend on what you were in the hospital for...severe trauma-the med, having a baby-baptist, but then methodist is good for delivery too, st. francis is kinda iffy all the way around, not sure I would want to be there. I've known people that have had bad experiences there.

Methodist, then Baptist.

It depends on what I needed...

I'm having my baby at Baptist Womens.

I will take my child once it is born to Methodist Germantown.

If I was having chest pain I'd go to St. Francis.

If I were severely injured or burned, The Med.

(Full disclosure...I've worked at Baptist East, Methodist Central, and SFH-Memphis)
