What TEAS score did you get & did you get accepted in the nursing program?

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

I took the TEAS exam this morning and got an adjusted individual score of 89.4% overall. I got a 97.5 on reading, 97.8 on math, 83.3 on science, and 83.6 on the English.

I currently have a GPA of 4.0 and I am taking the 3 prereqs for the nursing program now..which are English Comp I, General Psychology, and A&P I.

I have to attend a health information session tomorrow after which I can apply for the internal transfer into the (ADN) Nursing program out of health sciences-general studies.

I am super nervous about the whole process and really hope it all goes well. I am just wondering what scores everyone got on their TEAS and if you got accepted or not into your program.

Thanks!!

I just took the teas v on october 27th. Tough wasn't it?? I got an 82%. I think the test was harder than I anticipated. I've been told anywhere from 84% and higher was considered great, so you may have gotten a better score than you think!

Reading: 83.3%

Science: 85.4%

English & Language Usage: 70.0%

Adjusted Individual Total Score: 84.7%

ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Advanced

Percentile Rank - Program: 89

I took my exam last week, and I just received my results this morning. I didn't really study except for the science portion of the exam. I feel proud of myself because I'm only a first-year college student, and I'm already applying for a vocational nursing program at my school, and these TEAS results look promising. (=

We got similar scores and have pretty similar stories! I am applying to an LPN program at a technical college as well to kind of get a feel for nursing before jumping in and getting my BSN. I also only had about a week to study (approx 10 days) but I didn't get the ATI materials. I used Pre-Algebra Demystified and Khan Academy to study for the math. I used and old Biology book and a Human Anatomy Book to study for the science (where I obviously should have spent a LOT more time.) I've taken some of the prereqs but I was a business major so I am still down a few courses like Micro, Nutrition, Dosages and Calculation, etc. My score sheet looked like this:

Adjusted Individual Total Score: 81.3%

Mean - National: 64.3%

Mean - Program: 56.0%

Percentile Rank - National: 90

Percentile Rank - Progrm: 98

Reading: 85.7%

Mathematics: 86.7%

Science: 66.7%

English and Language Usage: 93.3%

I won't know if I got in until late November, early December. How did you fare?

Good luck everyone! I hope you come back excited with good news to share!

I got my acceptance letter today! I got a 75 on the TEAS-V and have a 4.0 GPA

Did you make it in? Did those count as 'passing?'

i got a 80 % adjusted indivi score and science gpa is 3.13 do i have a chance of getting in mdc

3.67 GPA and a 73 on the Teas Test. I did really well on the science section getting into the 92 percentile nation wide and 93 percentile program wide. I didn't do too well on the grammar and word meanings section, some of the words they wanted you too define where just ridiculous Where do you guys think I stand?

hi everyone! so i got an adjusted individual score of 86.7 on the teas test V and barely have a 3.0 gap in science prereqs & a 3.75 in the general prereqs, with a cumulative gpa of 3.54 & I'm applying at my current school, CSULB, have anyone gotten into this school yet? & if so, what were your scores, PLEASE & THANKS!

I got a 79% over all and have a current GPA of 4.0. Taking my last 2 pre req's now (A&P 2 and Psyc 101). My break down was Reading-85.7% Math-86.7% Science-62.5% English-86.7%.

I am going to retake it. I've never had a day of chemistry in my life so I'm hoping I can get a little better at that and I know I fudged up a few math problems that I never should have.

Just took my TEAS the other day, 3/15/2013. TEAS V of course.

Got 82 score over all. Ranked 91 national, and 93 program.

For comparison, my current GPA is 3.7.

My report says that the mean national and program average is only around 64%. That seems odd and very low to me.

Not to get off topic but I'm really surprised that chemistry is not a pre-req in your school.
