I got at a 80.1% AND i just got accepted into my schools RN program today!!!! woot woot!!!!! - Sep 18, '12 by lanibearI used the Mc-Graw Hill's "5 Practice TEAS Exams" and the Barron's book. Studied for about 3-4 weeks, no cramming just slowly taking my time haha. Got an 84.7
- Sep 21, '12 by RainbowDashAIS of 84% with no pre-requisite completion and a grand total of six days study time, combined with the stress of an accident that totalled my van (gotta love those folks who confuse the gas for the brakes!). It can be done! Best wishes to you
- Sep 22, '12 by JessL8584.7%. But honestly, I had no idea I was even going to take the TEAS! The assessment we had to take to apply to the program was something different (they just changed it to the TEAS this semester), but they had all new students come in to take the TEAS before the semester started, just to see where everyone was at. I didn't even know what kind of test were were going to be taken, I just got an e-mail the week before that said to be at a certain place at a certain time to take an assessment test. So I had no idea even what to study for...However, I had just taken an Algebra class that summer, and that certainly helped a lot. And I had just taken A&P the previous school year, so some of the science was more fresh in my mind then it otherwise would've been.

See now you're just showing off! Hahaha! 98% with just 2 weeks of studying- you need to share some of that super power you have!

What other dummy books did you borrow and their specific titles? I'm going to my school's library tomorrow to brush up on stuff but don't know which book to get.I got an 80.7% and I studied for a month straight. I used the ATI study manual and a few books from the library like Algebra for Dummies, Biology for Dummies, and Chemistry for Dummies.
Btw, do you have any further advices on reading comprehension? I'm so terrible at inferring, understanding the main idea/title, or what have you. I read my textbooks and I get it just fine! But obviously I'm not as good as I think coming from the TEAS.
thank you for your help
- Sep 28, '12 by RunnerRN2b2014I took it earlier today. Finished in 2 hours with a 86.7%, which is the 97% percentile. I didn't study other than a quick review of the science sections of the McGrawHill book last night.Candi7882 likes this.
