TEAS V score

what was your TEAS score? how long did you study? what material did you use?

I got an 80.7% and I studied for a month straight. I used the ATI study manual and a few books from the library like Algebra for Dummies, Biology for Dummies, and Chemistry for Dummies.

I got 98%, studied 2 weeks, and used the ATI Study Guide and Mc-Graw Hill's "5 Practice TEAS Exams". Both contained typos, so buyer beware. In the ATI Study Guide they stated "V=50" in the Roman Numerals section...Bonehead mistake for a publication put out by the Test Administrator! Good luck.

See now you're just showing off! Hahaha! 98% with just 2 weeks of studying- you need to share some of that super power you have!

Great job!! You are definitely going places!

WOW good job! I hope I can get a 90%

I made a 94% AIS, studying science off and on for a couple of months. My biggest mistake was that I DIDN'T study math or English language usage at all, and only logical conclusions in the Reading portion since those nailed me on every practice test. English wound up being my lowest score (90) because I got tripped up on comma usage questions that I had no business missing.

The moral of the story is to at least skim through your stronger subjects to prevent making silly mistakes.

Also, I read the science portions of the ATI and McGraw-Hill guides covert-to-cover and skimmed through an old PCAT prep book I had lying around for the sticker subjects (in my case, cell division and DNA replication).

Current CNA prospective practical nursing student. I have the McGraw Hill study guide that came with a CD ROM as well as TEAS V study manual downloaded onto my iPod. Any suggestion on study methods and ideas on how to ace (or at least get a great score) will be helpful.

Hey guys!

I got at a 80.1% AND i just got accepted into my schools RN program today!!!! woot woot!!!!!

I used the Mc-Graw Hill's "5 Practice TEAS Exams" and the Barron's book. Studied for about 3-4 weeks, no cramming just slowly taking my time haha. Got an 84.7

AIS of 84% with no pre-requisite completion and a grand total of six days study time, combined with the stress of an accident that totalled my van (gotta love those folks who confuse the gas for the brakes!). It can be done! Best wishes to you :)
