Physics on TEAS

Nursing Students TEAS

I just took my first practice test for TEAS. I did wonderful in everything but science. I was doing good in the first 3/4 of science, all the biology, but then I started getting physics questions and got 6 wrong in a row! Those of you who have taken the actual test, how many physics questions did you get? I'm suddenly terrified.

Is this the TEAS V? I took it last year and I don't remember getting any physics questions. Just bio and chem.

Yes, it's TEAS V. I never took physics, so I know basically nothing! If it's just bio and chem I should be okay.

I never took physics either and I did pretty well on the exam. You should be fine.

Hi, I took my TEAS this past November. There were no physics questions in the science portion.

I just took the TEAS in november as well and didn't have any physics question either. I've heard you don't actually need to know formulas, but just know very basics - like kinetic/potential energy and examples of each. I study those just to be sure, since everyone's test is different!

I don't remember any physics on my test either.

I came across a question or two about kinetic/potential energy and how to calculate momentum. I would also suggest to brush up on your Chemistry...how to balance an equation, what elements are more reactive than others, and the PH/acid scale, etc...

I took it today. There were a few physics questions but they were fairly basic.

I just took it today too! I didn't see any physics, unless a questions on Boyle's Gas Laws was physics.
