I interviewed at TWU last week, and interview tomorrow at TCU. Both programs have pros and cons so was wondering if I could get input from u guys that r actually in these programs. If I am luck enough to be accepted to both and have to choose, I want to be well informed!:bowingpur

Hey there Neurogeek,

I'm currently at TCU, but not sure what you want to know. Give me some specifics and I'll try to answer some questions for you.

Actually I accepted a spot at TCU & start in August. Seems like it's a really great program and I can't wait!

I have enjoyed it. It's alot of work, but I'm glad I made the decision to come here!

Yeah, I think it will be great. I was just SO impressed with their whole set-up. And MJ, what a gem! Also, one of my interviewers was X and I was really, really impressed with her. She was just so down to earth and seemed to really care about knowing me as a person vs. just finding out what I could recite clinically. The interviews between TCU & TWU were as different as night and day. I walked away from TCU feeling so positive and energized. I remember calling my hubbie as soon as I walked out the door and telling him that I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, if given the opportunity to go to TCU I would in a heartbeat.

:yeahthat:

TCU's Class of 2007 had a 100% first time pass rate on boards. Second year in a row.

Maybe the luck will hold for the class of 2010!!!!!:yeah:

Luck?! More like lots of very darn hard work!

Can any of you guys that go to TCU tell me about the Sherman site. I live in Frisco and am thinking of listing it as my top choice since it is the same distance as FW WITHOUT the traffic! I was wondering where the secondary sites would be located if the primary is Sherman?

Number #1: MJ is not there anymore, which is a huge loss!!! Talk about total disorganization within that office now!!! I felt exactly like you did after leaving my interview almost 3 yrs. ago, and I now feel 100% opposite of that. Feel free to PM me.....Both schools have their ups and downs......

Mostly, it is the clinical site that you go to which is the most important consideration of where you want to go to school!!!

Fungirl,

I tried to PM you, but your mailbox is full.
