Prerequisite Question

Nursing Students SRNA

Hello, I had a question regarding the prerequisite for CRNA programs. As I understand it, the majority want courses such as pharmacology and pathophysiology. However, some of the BSN prgeams have Pharmacology and pathophysiology as part of their curriculum as a separate 3 unit classes. Would these courses satisfy the CRNA prerequisites? Or would it be better to just take a pharmacology course from like UC Berkley extension and such? Thank you very much for any reply.

I'm not ceratain what you are asking here. You will need whatever prereqs that your intended school of study requires in order to be considered for admission. The 3 P's are in some but not all bachelors programs, if your intended school of study requires them, you'll need to take them outside of the BSN curriculum.

My CRNA program did not require additional patho/pharm classes than the ones I took for my BSN.

Hi,

What school are you attending for CRNA?
