HI, I am a RN in USA. But I have my ASD in a foreign country. I am very interested in crna program. I am still working on my BSN right now. I have 9 years ICU experience outside of USA and more than one year experience in USA. I want to know if the gate to the CRNA program is open to me.

NICE TO MEET ALL OF YOU !

Welcome, yes you still can apply to CRNA school. Several foreign grads have been admitted to programs in the US. Good luck to you.

Most of the CRNAs that I used to work with did their RN training overseas.

You will need to have at least the equivalent of the BSN since the programs all offer a Master's degree.

I am still working on my BSN right now. My concern is that when I apply to CRNA school, part of my credits are from oversea and some of them are from USA. I do not know if that will interfere with my application.

Thank you for reminding me to change my username. I have sent message to the administrator.

God Bless

Just a friendly reminder some people who have graduated or are currenlty SRNA's might take offense to you using CRNA in your screen title since you are not a CRNA yet.

Hi, it is me. Thank you for your encouragement. I am very concerned that if I will even get a interview in the future since I am from other country. I know that it is very expensive to train a CRNA. I am still working on my BSN right now, so when I apply for CRNA school, some of my credit will be from overseas. What I can do to increase my chance of being accepteed.

Thank you for reminding me. I do not know the rules about creating my username. I just sent e-mail to the administrator. Hopefully I can get it changed soon.

I wouldn't worry too much about the screen name, it says interested, people need to be less bogged down about that kind of stuff. I have SRNA in myname, and I have been admitted, although not started the program yet. Good luck with your endeavor.
