Vanderbilt Grad Entry 2013

Hey everyone!

This thread is for all of those out there who are planning on applying to one of Vanderbilt's MSN programs for Fall 2013. I'm starting to get my application packet together. I haven't started my interview survey questions and goal statement yet but I need to get on it. I need to take the GRE still though. Has anyone taken that? What did you get? Did you study? Harder than you thought?

Hi everyone!

I've applied for direct entry FNP and too am very anxious for a response.. I'm currently in Italy for two weeks and was hoping to hear before I left.. So I called the office and they said that in about a week or two decisions should be made for FNP because they always take longer than the other programs. They also said that they are more than happy to give decisions over the phone if you call their office.. So if anyone is still waiting, and are just as impatient as I am, give them a call. Congrats to all who have been accepted!!

I received my acceptance letter today for Direct Entry FNP! I am so excited! Just wanted to let you know that some decisions had been made apparently! Good luck to all those still waiting! I am looking forward to meeting everyone!

I called today to ask about my application status and its still under faculty review. This waiting is difficult!

It's the lady at the front desk,. I feel terrible for not knowing her name.. I've called her a million times. Just call the school of nursing main number.

Obnurse85....do you live in or near Nashville? I haven't received any letters and my file is still under review even though I was suppose to be in the first round of reviews. This is extremely frustrating...

Nurseobyn- I hear your frustration. I got my financial aid packet a couple days ago when some people got theirs 2 weeks ago. I live in Chicago. I bit the bullet and called asking about the status of my application. They told me it is still under faculty review.
