  1. I do not live in Nashville. I live in East TN. I did apply direct entry FNP solely. I am not sure why mine was reviewed earlier. I did do an interview so I don't know if that makes a difference as I heard they don't interview everyone (even everyone who gets accepted). My letter was postmarked the 19th. I submitted my application in October so that could make a difference as I had it in really early. I am definitely not a perfect applicant.
  2. Jenny.j I can't pm yet. If you private message me your email, I will answer your questions.
  3. I received my acceptance letter today for Direct Entry FNP! I am so excited! Just wanted to let you know that some decisions had been made apparently! Good luck to all those still waiting! I am looking forward to meeting everyone!
  4. When I completed my phone interview, my interviewer encouraged me to attend Open House. I asked her if decisions would be made prior to the Open House event. She said that she did not anticipate that we would know before Open House. I am applying FNP Direct Entry for RNs.
  5. Got an email for a phone interview for next week. Anyone else get this or has already done a phone interview? Any idea what to expect from it? I am applying for FNP and am already an RN. Getting kinda anxious with all this waiting. Thanks!
  6. Thank you so much for the honest reply! I submitted my application today so we will see what happens. I appreciate all your advice!
  7. I am interested in applying for Vanderbilt's distanced based MSN program for FNP. I would like to hear from anyone who completed this program (or any other msn program through vanderbilt) while working. Did you work full time, part time, prn? Did you go to school full time or part time? How manageable was the work load? I consider myself a very strong student. I am trying to get a realistic idea of what is possible and not possible. Thanks in advance for any advice!!!
