Hi everyone! I was hoping we could all put together where we are applying, which programs, and maybe some stats of ours like GPA, GRE, where we went for undergrad, and any relevant experience. This way we can all keep each other updated on admissions statuses!

Specializes in Pediatrics.

I am applying for FNP at Penn State, UPenn and Pitt. I graduated with a 3.2 and am taking my GRE on Jan. 17. I currently am working in a medical surgical unit.

I also had a 3.2. I'm applying to Columbia, UCONN, UC Denver, NYU and Yale. I took the GRE Sunday but don't have official results. I just have no clue how competitive the programs are!

Me too! I'm so nervous about my applications, I don't know if they're even going to look at it or if it's good enough. But good for you for going for Yale! That's an awesome program. How long have you been a nurse?

I graduated this past may! I'm hoping to get in at least somewhere!!

I did as well! :D Haha this is awesome that we're in the same boat.

I'm applying for Fall '14 to Vanderbilt, Northeastern, MGH institute of health professionals, possibly a couple more as well. GPA 3.3, Diploma RN, almost 2 years float pool experience, 156Q/158V/4.5AWA scores. is top choice. I'm freaking DYING to hear back. Good luck!

Good luck to you SaraStrong! :)

When do you guys expect to hear back? I am waiting on another letter of rec. My deadlines are mostly Jan/Feb, so I'm thinking I won't hear until March or April

Specializes in Educator/ICU/OB.

I am applying to the University of Oklahoma for the post-master's FNP program Summer '14. Nurse 21 years, received my MS-Nurse Education in 2011 from OU, GPA 3.91. I work in education and also work prn in ICU. Good luck everyone!

I applied to University of South Alabama for the Fall 2014 PNP program. I have a BSN and graduated in December 2006. My cumulative GPA was 3.56 and Nursing GPA was 3.25. I worked in PICU for 3 years, outpatient diagnostic center for 3 and Compliance for 1. USA does not require GRE so I didn't take it and I likely wont hear back until mid May. It is killing me waiting because my experience in Peds is not recent so I am unsure if that will affect admission. Hope not!! Good luck to you all.

I'll know about Vanderbilt by the end of February most likely. Haven't sent apps to the other ones yet.
