Future fall 2011 fnp students
- 0May 19, '11 by missvictoriatHey FUTURE Fall 2011 FNP students,
I applied to TWU Denton campus and UTA for both of their FNP programs. I wish to attend Fall 2011. I haven't heard back from either of them on whether I've gotten accepted.
Has anyone applied to these schools for the FNP program fall 2011?
Has anyone applied to ANY SCHOOL for the fall 2011 and heard back yet? IF so, what schools? And what are you going to do to "prepare" before August?
I'm excited about going back to school. I hope I get accepted! I want to hear from the NEW FALL 2011 FNP STUDENTS!!
- 0May 26, '11 by NAURNI have applied to Frontier for the Fall, but I will not find out until late June whether I am in or not.
As far as what I am doing to prepare, I have already filled out my fasfa. If you haven't done so yet, you can do that at any time, just put in both your schools where they let you list schools.
Really nothing too much that I am doing. We are cleaning out the office this weekend #1 Because it needs it, and #2 So I can prepare a work/study place. My program is mostly distance so I will need the space.
- 0Quote from tele jellyHi!! I applied to TWU FNP Denton fall 2011. I was getting antsy and called them today, and said I was accepted!! call them =)
OMG, REALLY?! Did you call the Registrar or the actual Nursing Department? I'm sooo nervous! But I am very antsy and want to KNOW if I got accepted or not! So I will DEFINITELY BE CALLING TODAY!
So TELE JELLY, how many years of experience do you have and what area do you work in?
I will have 2 years of nursing experience at the end of July and I work in a Medical/Telemetry/Oncology floor. I will let you know if I'm accepted! Hopefully we're CLASSMATES!
- 1CONGRATS @ CHRISTINEN!
I'm still on the fence about whether or not to go to school FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME. I know I will definitely be working FULL-TIME. I have no other option. So, I'm leaning more towards school PART-TIME. But I have no kids or spouse. So, I've heard others say its possible to go FULL-TIME work & school! GOOD LUCK!!
@ NAURN - yes, good point about FASFA! I've done mine. I almost forgot you can do that for graduate school too!Last edit by missvictoriat on May 27, '11 : Reason: adding more information to my post
