Chamberlain FNP Program

Hi! I am starting the MSN FNP Program thru Chamberlain on March 3rd. I am a little scared of enrolling in an online program. I would love to hear from others in the program. How are your classes going? Any advise, tips or hints for a new student?

Specializes in ICU.

In Pharm now just finished up patho. Starting clincial in Sept, and have the assessment class next. So far i agree the patho was challenging and really made me work. The pharm is very informative.

I am only on my second class but so far I would say it is all in what you want to get out of it. If you just want to do the bare minimum, you could probably get by on 6-10 hours. Some of the assignments will add another few hours to that for the week. I find that it is more like 20 hours per week for me, I am still learning APA and struggle with searching for articles to support my statements in the DT's. That is just my experience...so far!

Brush up on APA! Other than that the first couple classes are a lot of review from undergrad.

I did my undergraduate with Chamberlain and in my 3rd class on MSN-FNP. So far, so good. I transferred from University of south Alabama. I love Chamberlain cos the instructors are supportive than in USA.

Is there anyone here on AN in the Chamberlain program from Texas?

Specializes in Psychiatric, hospice.

Hi scrubbing17,

how ow is the program going for you? I imagine you are almost finished?

Specializes in Open Heart, cardiology.

Hey everyone,

Just wondering how the CCN FNP program was going for those who are a head of me. I have found the program very good so far. Starting to double my classes next session, Informatics and Healthcare Policy. It sounds like finding preceptors is the most challenging part of the program. Anyone in Jacksonville, FL?
