If you wanted to see patients of all ages as a nurse practitioner, would there be any benefit to becoming both ANP and PNP rather than becoming a FNP?

The only reason I could see would be if you already did one and then decided that you wanted to do the other. I can't think why anyone would want to do them separately from the start.

That would be a waste of money unless you were seeking a post master's certificate after already being in practice.
