I had two little boys in my office this morning, first graders with developmental disabilities. They were talking and one said,"Animals die when they get old." The other responded, "Some people die too. " I tried to reassure them both that, yes, people do die sometimes but usually they are very old, wrinkly and gray-headed. One boy glanced at my head, then looked me in the eye and said," YOU'RE wrinkly and your hair is white! You could die!" So I assured him that, no, I wasn't going to die. I have to come to school every day to take care of all the children. To which he responded...."We can get a new nurse!" :nurse:
