I am taking anatomy this semester which begins Jan 10th. I had seen a post some months back where somebody had advised a poster to start studying or familiarizing themselves rather, before the class begins. Any suggestions for sites where I could begin? i cannot afford to get my books until a few days before the semester begins.Any ideas as to how or what capacity I could begin? Thanks for your help :clown:

Kbucksn I am also starting anatomy and physiology on Jan 10 but that hasn't stopped me from gathering all the information and notes that will help me.

For anatomy notes and web links click on the following link. you should go through all of the thread because I have posted great information for nursing school throughout it. Anatomy links are I think on page 4 (last page)

Have you received your booklist yet? I have and I signed out the book from Library and have been using that to study and get used to the text book. Also I have started to make notes. Good Luck!! :) PM me if you have any questions

Sometimes I like to listen to lectures on itunes. They are usually free, but some teachers are better then others. As far as I know most (i am assuming AnP 1) start out with basic cell structure, maybe some basic biochemistry, basic body organization, directional terms, cavities, regions, tissue types but and then move on to the systems. You can pick up a study guide at any book store for $10-15 or put some of these terms in Google. Occasionally, I run across lab notes and flash cards online simply by searching in Google. But personally I like to make my own flash cards, it's part of my learning process.
