UC Denver Traditional BSN Program Summer 2016

Hello Everyone,

I recently submitted my application to the traditional BSN program at UC Denver starting Summer 2016. I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread so that if anyone else is in the same boat we can give each other moral support, advice, etc.

I got an email back notifying me that the interviews are scheduled for Monday, November 16th. It also said we should expect to hear by November 2nd if we have been asked back for an interview. So nervous but also excited!

For anyone who has already gone through the process, I am so curious as to what the interview is like. So any helpful tips of information would be so appreciated!

Hi!

I submitted in September and have been so nervous ever since. I am really hoping to get the email for an interview. Have you heard anything yet? Looking through past posts makes me a little more nervous but I also know we still have another week to hear from them. This week is not going by fast enough!

Zoe I completely agree! I feel like this week is dragging by. I know that they are done with applications on October 30th, so that means basically we should know this weekend. Have you heard what the interview process is like?

I haven't heard but I read some other reviews that talk about a group interview with an exercise. I still haven't heard anything and am so nervous! Have you?

I haven't either... And I emailed Amy Sturrock the academic advisor and she said we would get an email today either way. My stomach drops every time I get an email.

Me too!! I have contacted her so much throughout the process I was too nervous to do it again until tomorrow. So we will get an email regardless of the invite?

Yeah, so we basically have an 11 hour window open for us to definitely hear something. I'm going crazy!!

Hey!

Just some insight! I am part of 2015 cohort and have gone through interviews/ all the acceptance process. Although i am part of the 2015 cohort, i will end up joining the 2016 cohort. I hope interviews went well for everybody! I still remember it being super nerve racking as i waited for a admission decision! I heard back from them on New years eve so keep an eye out! I just wanted to say hi and to say that feel free to facebook me ( our cohort opened up a facebook page where we can just ask each other questions or feel free to chat)..Im sure u guys will have the same. Meanwhile, i am always open to ppl facebooking me..

- Also anybody who wants help finding apts in the future can always message me as i am looking for a roommate also!
