Thinking about giving up

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I am taking Gen chem, anatomy one, microbiology.

The grades are as follows 94.5 for a and p 91.5 for micro, until tomorrow my next exam, 88 for gen chem, and 80 for humanities. I think I bit off more than I could chew. I am thinking about dropping my humanities, honestly all of my classes, and going back on my knees to ATT.

I just don't see how I could possibly get into a nursing program. I doubt I can hold on to even these grades, I mean maybe if I dropped my humanities I could pull it off. I was only taking it to get the AS instead of the general studies, but that does not really matter since I am going for a 4 year program.

My cum is only 3.25 I was hoping to boost it to 3.5 this semester, but pulling of a 4.0 is going to be next to impossible. Mathematically I am still on pace for one since my humanities offers ten percentage points in extra credit.

I don't know I feel to old at 27 to do this like I let the best years of my life slip away. I feel incredibly stupid, and incompetent. I know this sounds arrogant, but it brings me little comfort to be above the C/B average of most students. I just don't think it is good enough especially with my past issues.

I think I need to calm down, and drop my humanities I don't have time for classes that don't apply to nursing, and frankly my target program looks heavily at the science GPA, I think I have been wasting my time with this darn humanities.

drop Humanities... and you're 27 .. you're not old! ... I'll be 30 this year and still trying to finish pre-reqs.They changed the requirements so, I have to take an extra course... don't stress your grades are not bad ... you just need more time to relax.. drop humanities and don't give up!

Good Luck!
