Takeing the TEAS

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello,

I am going to be taking the TEAS in just a few days the 23rd of May. Does anyone have any tips or pointer for taking the test. I have been studying and taking practice test. on practice I got a 90 on the reading,94 on math,88 on science, and a 76 on English.

Check out the TEAS section of this website. A number of people have posted about their experience with it.

I just took mine on May 4th and scored in the 90s. From my experience, I would recommend buying both practice exams from ATI and making sure you are timing yourself appropriately. Make sure you also get used to the four function calculator on screen. The one on my actual exam was a bit different, but I liked being able to have already practiced with one. I personally found the practice exams to match up fairly well what with the style of question being asked. On the actual exam, you will more than one question on the page.

Get plenty of rest the night before the exam, eat a good breakfast, wear comfortable clothes, arrive to the testing site early (perhaps even do a practice run over there), use the bathroom, and be aware of what you can and can't bring you. If you have put in the time studying and have done the practice exams and timed yourself, I feel like you will get about the same score as on the ATI tests the first time you take them.

Best wishes!
