Steps to Nursing/Clinicals

Hi everyone! I am in my second semester at MSJC and I would like to know every single step of the nursing and pre-nursing process. I know about the pre-requisites as that is what I'm doing now but what happens right after? Do I write an article and get a letter of recommendation in order to be accepted? Do the clinicals last just a year? I need to know every single detail that all schools have in common, because I know each school is different.

You need to get that information from whichever schools you are planning to attend.

Look at each schools course listings for their nursing departments. Otherwise that's a lot of schools for us to list.

Most people attend clinicals every semester. And it depends on the school on whether you need letters of recommendation, but most school require a entry test.

Yes, every school is completely different on their admission process. Not every school even takes the same entry exam so you will really have to meet with an advisor at your school and find out.

Every school will vary with each of those. Some schools, like mine, have clinicals throughout. Some condense it all down to the final semester. Some require an essay to apply, but some don't. It really just depends. Look at the programs you're considering, and work toward fulfilling their requirements.
