Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello. I'm new to the site and would love some advice. I'm 30 married with three children and I work full time. Starting in January I will be a full time student taking prereqs for the nursing program. Is it possible to become a RN with all that I have on my plate?? I'm scared but this is my dream and I think I'm finally at a point in my life where I can make this dream become reality.

Yes! Remember anything.is possible if you put your.mind to it and stay determined. It is even more of a benefit if you have the support of your family. Which it sounds to me like you do. Dont forget to study study study!! I very sure you will be successful! Congrads and good luck!!!

You can definitely do it. I'm 40, a mom, and work full-time.

The main thing you will need is your husband and other family to provide childcare when your kids have sick days. It seems that whenever I have a test or need to study there is an emergency at home.

You will also need to selfishly carve out time for school. And the reality is that I sometimes get up at 4am to get study time. Most nights and my brain is fried once homework is done, everyone is fed, and in bed. I can do light school work (like make flashcards or review notes) but am not usually up to more.

Yes, you can certainly do it!! I too am a mom (2 kids and single) one of which has special needs and work full time. I have made it through school for 3 years now with a 4.0.

You need to accept any help that is offered and make sure to prioritize. Get yourself a calendar that you can write in and carry with you. I know for me, having a list of what I needed to get done makes everything a lot easier.

You can do it, stay focused on your goal and before you know it, you will be a nurse!!!!!!!!!
