I see all the admission requirements for Nevada schools and about how you can only take A&P or Micro twice! WHat if you withdrew from A&P does that still count as it being taken? I am in reference to Touro Nevada and UNLV, and places like that near Las Vegas and Henderson! I am retaking A&P for the third time to receive a good grade of an A or B. The first time I took it, it dropped the class. The second time I got a D. Does anyone know this information, I read it somewhere but don' t know where. SO frustrating?!

It depends on nursing school admission policy. Primarily the policies come into play to open up spots for students in prerequisite courses.
MN State Mankato just adopted this policy to open up a logjam and prevent students taking classes 5/6 times in an attempt to enter the BSN program.

Each program is different. You may want to post in the regional section to get more specific information about the program in question.

At my school, if you withdraw from a course, it still counts as you taking it. For example, last semester, I withdrew from A&P I and I am retaking it this semester. If I don't pass, I am no longer a nursing major because you can only take it twice.
