Question about becoming an RN

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi there,

I start school soon, and my biggest question is, what subjects were the hardest for you? If you could go back, what subjects would you study before starting? Study, as in to get a head start. I have already started studying the Math. I'm doing pretty good there. I'm just curious to what subjects were the hardest for you.

Thank you.

Are you already in the nursing program? If not, what pre-reqs are you taking?

I am taking pre-reqs and I could say everyone is stronger in one subject and weaker in another. It is just a matter of finding the best way to learn and hence, study. Are you a visual, auditory or kinesthetic learner? Once you know which way you learn best, you will be able to find a way to study: audio podcasts, youtube tutorials, flashcards, coloring pages etc. My advice to you, take time and effort to practice your sciences such as chem, and A&P classes. Anything else, like psych, should be a breeze.
