Paying for Winter Session! How did you?

Hello, I have registered to take Lifespan Development online at a neighboring community college since my school does not offer any of my prereqs during the winter session. I have been told by someone in admissions that there is no financial aide during the winter session but they suggest that I speak to financial aide about the specifics. I have left a message with financial aide but from my experience, they never call back. I am worried that I may have to drive all the way to the campus just to get an answer (1 hr away). I am wondering if anyone has ever taken a class during the winter session, and if so, did you pay out of pocket for the whole thing? were you able to apply for a loan ? did grants cover it? I am currently only enrolled part time at my college so I should have some available funds left over but I don't know if the school will let me apply it to this winter course. I do not have the funds to pay out of pocket for the course and am worried that I am going to have to drop the class.

How did you pay for Winter session? thoughts ? advice?

Ughh I had to drop the class. They would not offer me any kind of financial aide or payment plan...i am so annoyed.

Oh no, sorry. :( Yes I'm paying out of pocket for it, it's an online course.

And the courses are only 3 weeks long. :)

$100 ? I wish that was the case for me...unfortunatley, the class is $583 plus $189 for the book. where do you live?
