Pathophysiology!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I am currently taking Pathophysiology as my last nursing pre-req before I start my core nursing classes in the end of January, anyways I am finding this class challenging, as well as my professor is horrible at lecturing, I cant seem to find any good resources out there..

would anyone be able to suggest any study resources for Patho?

Thanks!

Normally the textbook comes with online resources to are helpful.

Khan academy on youtube is pretty great. Honestly you can type in any condition on youtube and there normally a nice scientific animation to go with it. Those help people a lot.

Unfortunately even starting in patho the question are formatted in a way that professors dont lecture in.... so you need to learn the material and then use it in a different way. Its challenging to only be learning how to think like a nurse through test questions without anyone telling you how aside from getting test questions wrong.... but you will get used to it and figure it out.

I have found that even with instructors my classmates complain about- its not really the instructor that can't lecture but the difficulty we face when trying to learn how to critically think differrnt than in any other class we have had.
