My Crazy Day During Finals

I have finals all this week. I am a newly single mom and have pretty much kept it together all semester while taking care of my son and running him everywhere. I studied all weekend and I watched a friend of his last night because his mom and dad had to travel to Chicago this morning for a funeral. They've helped me out so much with my son I wanted to pay them back.

I only slept an hour last night. The boys were up forever and I couldn't sleep. Got up showered took the boys to the bus stop only to realize they were on a 2 hour delay. Since my friend was in Chicago I had no one to watch the boys and my micro class started at 8. Our unknown project was due and we had a spelling test.

I lost it this morning. Felt like I was going to fail the class everything. I think it was the hour sleep with my frustration at 5 finals this week. I felt like I officially couldn't do it. I didn't know what to do.

My professor let me come in this afternoon to take the test and turn in my project. I picked up the boys from school and ran my son to judo class while I studied. No time to cook tonight so we went through a drive-thru. I'm eating now, then finish up studying and hopefully get some sleep tonight. Crisis averted today. I hope the rest of the week goes more smoothly.
