Hey guys!! I'm SO relieved to announce that I just passed microbiology at person vue. That was a tough one. I studied the tortura book from front to back. My exam consisted of a lot of critical thinking, so be prepared for that. This to me was harder than the combined A&P exam. I encountered many questions that asked how certain meds affect the cell (whether it breaks the cell wall etc.) There were also a lot about different culture techniques questions. Know your oxidative phosphorylation inside and out...etc.!! Know how to read lag/log charts. Be sure to really differentiate between a bacteriophage & a virus, immunoglobulins, and immunity. 130 questions in total. I just wanted to share a bit of my experience in hopes of helping someone else out. I wish you all well in your journeys!!
