I am new to this forum. I am on the waitlist at 2 community colleges for the Associates Degree Nursing Programs
in hopes to get my RN license in the near future. I have also taken the recommended classes for preparation, such as, nursing readiness, Pharmacology, and Math for Health Care. If I don't get accepted for the upcoming Spring semester, I will be taking medical terminology. Last semester I was waitlist #101, and then I got my new waitlist #75. I hope I move up more than 26 on the list for this semester, as I have been on 2 waitlists for over a year. I have already passed the TEAS as well.
I would like suggestions on how I can study on my own at home so that I may prepare for the first semester of nursing. Are there any certain books or websites I should study? I feel that I am forgetting my general sciences since I finished my prerequisites a couple years ago. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm getting tired of waiting, and I just want to be ready for the program.
