HELP school A&P and Micro!!!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

So heres the deal, I have TWO semesters before applying to the Nursing program at my school. What I have left to take is A&P I and A&P II, Microbiology, Nutrition, Human development and a random humanities course.. those are my pre-req's left... my question.. should I try to take micro with A&P I or A&P II??! My schedule this semester is A&P I, Nutrition, Humanities, and Human Development..... I can always switch it around to take things next semester if I should take micro with A&P I.. ANY HELP would be seriously appreciated..!!!

I took micro before i took A and P 1 made a B in micro and a A in A and P 1..I'm now taking A and p 2 and i swear its bringing back alot of micro.. id say take A and P 2 with micro

The members above me have posted some spot-on advice. Here's some of my two-cents:

My schedule this semester involves taking Microbiology and Human Growth & Development. Next semester, I'm going to take both General Chemistry I and Nutrition. Then to finish up my prerequisites, I'll be taking both Human Anatomy & Physiology I - II next summer.

I am finding Microbiology very simple to grasp, and my professor actually encouraged students to take General Biology I before taking this course. I made an A in General Biology I this summer, so I'm feeling pretty good about this class. If you feel better taking Human Anatomy & Physiology before Microbiology, then go with that.

I wish you all the best for your studies, and keep us informed of your progress! Hopefully you won't hear back from me within a few months, having deep regret over taking Microbiology before General Chemistry or Human Anatomy & Physiology.
