Help! low GPA high TEAS score TWU

I want to get into TWU for Spring 2018 but my GPA is not very high. I know they say they only look at nursing core prereq GPA and right now mine is at a 2.765. My total prereq GPA (state core + nursing core) is a 3.145. I'm currently taking A&P 2 and going to take microbio this summer as well as retake my stats class. If I pass my A&P 2 class © and ace my microbio and stats class this summer (As) my nursing core GPA should go up to a 3.08. On my TEAS test I got a 90.7% composite score, 91.5% reading, 80.9% science, 100% math, and 100% english. I could retake my chem 1 class and that would bring it up to a 3.24, but I'm not sure if it's worth retaking because I would not be able to get into TWU's program until Fall 2018. What are my chances of getting in with a 3.08 GPA and my TEAS scores? Is there any chance at all they might look at my overall GPA as well and could it help me? I am looking as a transfer student and I would like to get in to the Dallas campus.

Based on my cohort's scores. TEAS makes up for your GPA. Anything about 90 is amazing!

Wow awsome teas score!! What materials did you use to study? Did you take an English class prior to taking the exam?

really? I tried to use the point calculating spreadsheet that TWU has, but I am having trouble seeing how much the TEAS scores weigh in

I used the ATI study book and just took a practice test in it then went over what I got wrong and focused on those sections. the book helped me a lot!

my GPA is the same as yours! however I wont be able to apply for fall 2018 because I dont have the full 46 hours completed...is it possible to get in without the full 46 hours?
