Good "non-prerequisites" classes to take before nursing school?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Anyonerecommend any classes to take before nursing classes? Right now I am working onmy prerequisites. Just want to know what classes would be best to take that aren'tnecessarily prerequisites, just beneficial to have. Thanks!

I would think a language would be best. Medical Terminology is essentially a language of its own. Ha.

I took a lot of Spanish to fill my pre reqs. I had actually planned on minoring in it, but I'm only going for my ASN right now.

A phlebotomy class in the continuing education section may not be a bad class. You can get a full semester that has a clinical portion. Plus, if you need a part time job, this could help.

Medical terminology, Spanish, nursing dosage and calculations was one my school offered and i wondered why it wasn't a mandatory thing!! I also took health concepts... Nutrition and psych classes are usually a prereq but if they are not for you i would recommend taking any of them...
