Going back to school for Nursing

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello all-

I am currently a stay-at-home-mom to a 1 year old little boy and am really thinking about going back to school for nursing. Are there any other parents out there with any tips? I am stressing over child care and the such.

I am an adult though not with any kids, I can totally understand. I am going the LVN route for right now. I passed my HESI and got accepted. I am going to a private college as WorkSource and their Financial Aid is paying for the whole tuition. Then there are no prereqs to take..they teach everything that you need right in class. Its one year with 5 week modules. After each 5th week you have to pass the HESI to proceed to the next level and finish. I decided this was the right choice for me. I am a previous CNA but basically have no other academic experience besides working in a skilled nursing unit. I have already started to look at Nursing books so I can stay ahead. I start this April. After I finish this I would like to start for my BSN. But for right now my goal is to finish this. I am scared so much to absorb in a very short amount of time. Please do pray that I succeed!
