Hi everyone, I am currently applying to a nursing school in Jersey. I need help with the essay. Please give me any feedback. Here it is:

My viewpoint of nursing comes directly from my desire to help people. I want to be a nurse because I enjoy being around people when they are in need. I get internal satisfaction by serving those that need help. A few years ago I volunteered at a hospital, and that is when I knew I had a desire to help people, and when I realized my passion for nursing. Everything I have done in my life, I have worked very hard for it This program will be no exception. First I will keep God at my side at all times. With Him all things are possible. Further more, I will continute to be confident in myself and work hard at everything I do to allow me to be very successful in this nursing program.I believe that the cure for many patients at the hospital is not only medicine but also has to do with the care they receive at the hospital and their homes. I believe that it is important to provide a patient with the right kind of atmosphere and environment that is conductive to his or her recovery. It is important to keep the room of the patient a place where he or she feels the soothing and healing effects from the environment. I believe that spirituality holds a very significant role in the profession of nursing. Once i become a nurse I plan to continue to be dedicated and sincere, but also very nurturing. These are just two of the many qualities that I feel a good nurse should possess. Having these two qualities well not only allow you to succeed in nursing but in life as well. Nursing is a fulfillment in life for me. It is a reward that I have been given and I can't wait to be able to give back what I have been so blessed to have.

I would suggest taking God out of the essay, unless you're applying to a religious school. Also, I think your essay is a little generic, not bad but it doesn't really seperate nursing from any other health profession. You want to help people, what makes nursing your given path and not a doctor, physician assistant, ect. You get what I mean?

Yeah i get you, but also, im applying to christ hospital school of nursing. Umm, also i will be taking the NLN so, do you have nay suggestion which book is the best for this?

Okay well definetely keep it in if you are applying to christ hospital lol they'll like to see it. I don't have any suggestions on the book but I know there are a few posts on this forum with some suggestions.
