Hi guys!

My name is Sora, and I will be going to Desales University next year, May 2018, for its ABSN program. I am so excited to start school again. I graduated with my Bachelor's this May, and I found it difficult to juggle moving to PA and starting the ABSN program 10 days after my graduation, so I asked Desales to move my application to next year's start. Lucky for me, Desales University was generous enough to offer me a spot in their cohort 14, and of course I accepted!! I am so so excited to start this program already, and I can't wait to meet all of you soon. I decided to start this topic for people who are considering this school or for those of you who will be attending. I thought it would be nice for us all to get to know each other. I'm from CT so moving to PA will be a big move! I am currently looking into my options for residing, but so far living on campus seems to be the best option. Anyways, I hope to see some new people on this post. :)

Hi Sora! My name is Ariana and I am also going to be attending the ABSN program in May 2018! I finished my Bachelor's in December 2016. I live close to DeSales, so I will be commuting! So excited for everything to start and to meet everyone!

Hi everyone,

I was also accepted to DeSales and I have a question for you guys. I was accepted on September 11th, and the deadline to submit the tuition deposit is September 30th. I'm kind of struggling with making my decision so quick because I'm still wanting to hear back from other programs.

Do you guys know is that's standard? Very quick deadline after being accepted? Thanks!

Hi Anna! Congratulations on your acceptance! I payed my deposit back in May because of my unique situation, but when I was accepted last year, I do remember that the deposit due date was soon after my acceptance date. I assume they do this to accept people into the program, and then for those who decide not to go through with it, the school gives the spot to another student. Because a lot of people apply, they try to organize the seats as fast as possible. But, I totally understand your situation because I was in your situation before too. Anyways, I hope this helped answer your question, and I hope to see you in the program next year!! :)
