My name is Sora, and I will be going to Desales University next year, May 2018, for its ABSN program. I am so excited to start school again. I graduated with my Bachelor's this May, and I found it difficult to juggle moving to PA and starting the ABSN program 10 days after my graduation, so I asked Desales to move my application to next year's start. Lucky for me, Desales University was generous enough to offer me a spot in their cohort 14, and of course I accepted!! I am so so excited to start this program already, and I can't wait to meet all of you soon. I decided to start this topic for people who are considering this school or for those of you who will be attending. I thought it would be nice for us all to get to know each other. I'm from CT so moving to PA will be a big move! I am currently looking into my options for residing, but so far living on campus seems to be the best option. Anyways, I hope to see some new people on this post. :)

I don't know if anyone new to the group will see this, but if anyone that will be attending Desales University next year for the ABSN program is looking for a roommate, please let me know! :) I will be moving to PA from another state so I am in search for a roommate to rent out an apartment with!

Hey i got an email to attend a campus interview. But i live in Newyork and I am currently enrolled in college classes. so i really dont have time to travel to PA. Did you travel from Ct to PA for interview
Hey shhmericaa, I am also interested in applying for May 2019 program. I live in New York so I am looking at other schools as well, but DeSales is definitely one of my top picks. Could you guys share your GPA with us and your prerequisites grades? My Bachelors degree cumulative average is 3.5 and the prerequisite GPA is 3.1, do I have a chance to get in to the program? Is there a specific number of applicant that this school accepts? Also for those that are in the program already, could you provide me with the cost of the program? All of your feedback is greatly appreciate it.
@shhmericaa Hi! Sorry for seeing this so late. I’m currently in the ABSN program right now and am the person that started this threadt back in 2017. The program is going well so far! I’m not going to lie or sugarcoat it, it is difficult. BUT not impossible! I would say don’t do ANY studying previous to this program because you will have your far share of studying to do once you start haha just enjoy your time before the program and you’ll do great! @abbyxoxo I did my interview over skype! @FutureScrubNurse It is 11,500 per semester!
