Hi and welcome to Allnurses.com! :)
Try doing a search for NLN. I've seen some threads discussing this exam.
Good luck.

Use the NLN study guide by MacDonald ( i think). Perfect examples of what really is on the test. Also, any book that lists the most widely used SAT words will be extremely helpful. Watch the clock!!!!!! I ran out of time on the english portion and it was my lowest score. I did get a 124 though. I studied hard for a good solid month.

Hey Fun2Care! thanx for answer, but kind of having trouble finding that thread. Don't you remember in which part was that? can't you please giude me how to find that. I typed NLN, but they had nothing to do with the preparation to the actual exam. Thanx in advance.

thanx Woogy! yeah I got the book MacDonald, but that's not enough for exam, or seems to me so. Especially the verbal, seems hard and not many practicals. Millions of words to memorize. May be I am making an elephant of it. Which specific book do u suggest from SAT words? thank you
I had used a book titled 'word power', but I sold it in a garage sale and of course, now I would like to have it again but I can't find it. Really any book that is based on studying for the SAT that gives you a list of the words most used in the test. It was definitely the most difficult for me too. Do a search online for "SAT most used words test" something like that should hopefully give you at least a website for books for sale, but you really can do OK by at least studying those most used ones really well.
Good luck!
