Colorado ADN/Easier BSN schools

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Anyone familiar with nursing schools in the state..Family is moving to Colorado (near Denver) this January and I'm trying to find more schools to apply to for spring/fall '17. I realize that as an OOS student with a lower GPA (2.7), I might be less competitive. I have completed all of the prerequisites most schools need and have a BS degree. I applied to DSON already, but am wondering if the CC Nursing programs in Colorado are too competitive to apply to for someone with my stats?

Rural, run down, I don't care. As long as they have an accredited ADN program. Also, are there any BSN programs that I would have a good shot at getting into as a transfer student? I'm exhausting all my options here. Heck i'd even go to WY or NE if it meant getting in someplace.

I appreciate any feedback.
