Any (student) nurses have experience with the Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi,

I'm a prospective nursing student, and I'm scheduled to take the Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam before the start of the school year. I'm really nervous because I feel like I'm not properly preparing myself to take the test. I bought the Kaplan Study book, the McGraw-Hill study book for nursing school entrance exams, and the A&P Cliffnotes review book. Math and Science (A&P) seems to be straight forward because it's either you know it and studied it or you aren't familiar with the material; however, the reading and writing is a different story. Also, the fact that there aren't many questions on test for more error kinda freaks me out.

Does anyone have experience with this test? Am I doing enough to prepare for the exam? This is my only chance to get into the specific nursing school that I am trying to get into, and I'm frightened that I won't be able to get in; I'd have to choose some other major instead. I must pass with a 60% overall.

Thanks!

I just realized that someone has posted a similar question below, so I do apologize for a "double post."

I would still love any opinions and experiences pertaining to my case.
