Oh, I forgot to mention that taking online only courses requires a lot of discipline! You really need to keep up with the material. So for some of us...ok, for myself, the best method of instruction is the classroom, since I tend to get overly distracted at home (fortunately, I am able to stay on task with the homework).

I think its a reasonable load of classes. All of your classes are all in its own discipline or "subject" so its easier to handle. One science class, one history class, one math class, and one communcations class. No, I don't think its difficult to handle at all.

My nursing dept. assistant chair told my nursing class not to take an online A&P because its important to retain as much as you can. With online classes, I think its easier so thus harder to retain the information.

Ive been doing some thinking and I think I'm just going to take Math, U.S history and A+P. I want to make sure I'm not overloaded bc I want to make a A in A+P.

mjmoon....A&P 2 w/lab, Micro w/lab, Chem w/lab...that is total craziness. You are Super Woman!

I have to admit, I took my speech requirement online. lol Interpersonal Communications, no less. We had absolutely no student to student contact nor did we hear from the teacher more than twice the entire semester. It was a joke... BUT it fulfilled my speech requirement so it's all good. ;)

I'm also curious how the lab was for micro online.. did you grow the cultures and stuff at home or was it all software based?

Working full time and taking a full time semester is going to be a lot.. but not impossible, people do it everyday.

I do stand by my opinion that with a science class, you simply can't get a good 'feel' for the labs from a piece of software. All the pictures in the world aren't going to be the same as dissecting a brain, eye, heart or cat. JMO

And there's nothing like the smell of cultures that have been growing for a couple of days...

chicago- The boys are a full time job in and of themselves. I am lucky though that the hubby is very, very helpful when he gets home from work. And my oldest is in school all day so that helps too. My little one starts Kindergarten in September so hopefully I'll be starting nursing school at the same time and we'll all get into a good grove with the three of us in school all day. :)

That's my hope too. My daughter is in 2nd grade full time and my son is preschool for 3 hours/day. It kills me! I'm hoping we'll get into a really good groove when he starts school full time in September!

You'll Be Just Fine!
