The University of Arizona has a tuition free accelerate BSN program. The catch to that is that you have to sign a contract to work in one of their facilities in Arizona for 3 years, which isnt so bad. A paid for education and a guaranteed job after you graduate. you should check it out...good luck:)
itsmejuli- they do have a website with all the scholarships available, but its very focused on undergrads/first degrees (which makes sense), but I'm going to speak to the counselor today!
Jen87- thank you for the suggestion, though I am already going to a school in PA. I did check out Arizona/all 200+ Accelerated programs websites (hahaha) but some were just too far from home!
Thank you both, I'm still googling away...

Good morning!
Just wondering if anyone can share the wealth of good websites/organizations that provide Nursing School Scholarships. The catch is: I'm entering an Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN (aka I already have my first Bachelor of Science in Business), so that removes me from the eligibility of grants (made for students earning their first degree). Thus, anything I get besides Financial Aid will have to be from scholarships.
I'm entering a program in March, so I'd like to start applying to as many funds as possible now while I still have the time. The bummer I've been finding is that many scholarships want you already "enrolled" into a program. Though, I could write the essay for the scholarship now, I may be wracking my brain for my program come March, and thus scholarships will be way back burner for me, when I'm actually eligible to apply for them.
Therefore, if you have any suggestions how to get $$ for Nursing Students or more specifically 2nd Degree Nursing Students, please share :)
