Hello. I know it is early but I thought I would start this thread. Is anyone else getting their information ready and applying yet?

Thats weird, do you buy any chance have Google Chrome, I use it alot and the portal works much faster and better on it and more than likely it could be the browser thats not picking up the information. I fortunately never ran into that issue yet, but have you tried it on your mobile app? They also have that accessible just in case we run into issues

Just wanted to say hello - I applied for the Fall 2015 MEPN program at USD. Am now just eagerly waiting to hear about whether I get an interview.

Hi everyone!

I wish I had fond out about this website when I was applying. Many of your ideas and questions would have probably helped me out when I was applying. Anyhow, I am so excited to hear back from this school as it is one of my top schools. Anyone an out of state applicant? I am coming from Arizona (graduated from NAU with my BA).

I believe the committee will send out interview notifications on the first week of January. I am anxiously nervous as well as us. I wonDer how many applicants applied for this cohort? hmmm. Well happy holidays to you guys and hopefully our new years resolution is getting into nursing school, preferably USD :-)

Hi IBCLC2RN,

So while I was checking my status, mines just says Committee review, now I'm really getting antsy:unsure: eeekkk. USD is my number one choice and I'd be devastated if I do not get in. From previous forums, the interview letters do not get sent out until the first week of January so now I breathe and pray about this. Best of Luck to you all

Mine still says, "complete - ready for review."

January is so close! Where is everyone watching this thread located? I know myself and "misliliposh" are in San Diego and "me2015" is from AZ.

Hey all,

Looking forward to January. Just to update the latest numbers, the MEPN staff confirmed that average GPA is a 3.5 overall and between a 3.5-3.7 on pre-reqs. Again, this is just the "average", and folks get in on either side of the spectrum. They take your highest achieved GPA (highest as in grad work vice undergrad work) for the overall, which in my case works out great since I have a 3.9 for my graduate degree and only a 3.6 on my undergrad.
