Summer Entry 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN Johns Hopkins

Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Hi everyone,

How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.

Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right? :saint:

FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.

They do not call denials only accepted students...... accepted students in the past have received a phone call followed up by a letter in the mail and yes hopefully Friday. Hope that helps....hang in there gang!

Obviously nothing is set in stone, but if you don't receive a call on Friday, does that mean case closed? Also, I should have asked this when I spoke to their admin office, but does JHU have a waiting list?

Have any of the summer-entry regular decision applicants heard any news yet?

I'm a regular summer decision, I was told the first week of March, but hopefully we all hear on friday! :)

No that doesn't mean case closed!! I am unsure if they are doing phone class this year. Either outcome you will receive a paper letter in the mail of acceptance or denial.

We just have to be patient, everyone! Either way we will be hearing soon (but hopefully tomorrow via phone call!).

Unfortunately, I just called admissions and it seems like they aren't calling this year for the BS-MSN program. They said letters go out tomorrow though...

Taadams, they had been saying that for awhile (the past month), but we will see tomorrow!

I hope you're right!

that is strange. They usually always call accepted students. I thought that was a tradition and either way they send letters out to both accepted students and denials. Has anyone who applied to the summer accelerated 2013 program heard back yet? (besides the early decisions)?

& I was in this chatroom that JHU provided last week for prospective students and I am pretty sure as a recall, she said accepted students receive phone calls and a letter goes out the following week.

People should call and ask! Look for specific people to talk to though, and don't call general admissions!
