Hello,
I was wondering if anyone here has recently done this program or thinking about attending. It is a 15 month program at the College of Mount St Joseph in Cincinnati. I applied and was set to go awhile back, but did not go for many reasons. Here again I am interested. If anyone else is thinking about MSJ or at MSJ, let's talk.

anyone accepted into the May 2015 cohort I made a facebook group and that's the link above so you can join if you like! I'm looking to find a roommate bc staying on campus doesn't seem ideal for me right now!
Thank you MIHopefull for logging in. I would like to know what you think about the program. Do you feel like you have time to breath? Is it a program that you walk into and they teach you what you need to know without expecting you to be an expert walking in? What days are you attending? Im just nervous and want to know everything that I can possibly know.
I don't want to freak you out but someone dropped out the first week, from being scared about the amount of material we have to cover, and someone dropped out the 3rd week because they felt they were not given enough time to learn the material, and my cohort as a whole had a meeting with the the program director, to complain about a professor that we didn't feel was teaching us what we needed to know. On the other hand, the other 3 classes are straight forward just a massive amount of material, and no one told me this before hand, but one of the classes is 7 weeks, and pharm lab is 8 weeks. We are curently at school M-Thur.. I got a 98% on my first Pharm test :) ..
Oh geez...@MiHopeFull you definitely freaked me out lol when did they contact you before classes started? So far I haven't received anything else about the program and it kind of scares me but I'm guessing I would hear something by march or April? Does everyone pretty much stay on campus ?? Do they give you a book list before we start so we can have time to read a few chapters?!!!
So you applied next step is they will contact you for an interview. If you live 50 miles away from campus it will be over the phone. I knew I got in last June... No one stays on campus only undergrad students do that, it would cost about the same to get an apartment in the area. Nope no book list or reading list, 2 weeks before the start you might get a pre-assignment, orientation is the week before schools starts. If you want to start reading buy Perry&Potter and I can recommend chapters, and one thing that all most got me was you need the Hepatitis B vaccination, which I never had as a kid, and it takes 6 months to get all 3 shots which have to be completed before the start of clinical, which is at the end of the semester.
Okay I worded that wrong lol...Im accepted and I start in May but besides the letter I got in the mail about the immunizations and background check and etc I haven't heard anything else, like a email or things like that and it's like freaking me out lol but I guess I just have to be patient lol but thanks so much for the information. Was it easy for you to find housing? Because I haven't even been to the area since I live in Michigan so it's kinda hard to decide on where to live...
