I'm a new grad but experienced as mom of a complex child and some good experience from a previous non medical job that gave me some great skills--- never thought in a million years this chance would come up but here I am. I interviewed today in front of a panel, and before I was able to get on the elevator they chased after me and said please come in this room, and told me they had decided to hire me right then and there! After 5 months of job searching and no one even looking at my resume because I am a new grad, not even long term care. I was waiting for a pt to be assigned at a home health company but never got one. This is a new grad program at our local children's hospital with 16 weeks of intensive training and then lots of preceptorship on the floor. Truly I feel that God shut all the doors and I was feeling so depressed, and then this lands in my lap only 48 hours after I submitted the application!
Just wanted to say hello and I'm so glad I can post here! I know the training will be intense but I also know I'm up to the task.

God said that your timing is now! Congratulations!!!
I am also patiently awaiting 2 different positions, 1 in NICU and 1 in CVICU in our local children's hospital as well....I pray that I get it.
Good luck! I hope it's meant to be!
