thank you! I was looking them, and they seem pretty decent with magnet status and nurse residency programs, so two major tick marks already

Hi I heard some hospitals pay $40 and up. Plus good benefits. Too bad no body want to share their location.

Some facilities (rehab type) offer $27-28 base pay an hr. Some community hospitals offer $ 34~35 base pay. I know Jeff offers $33.76 base pay.

Everything I know:

- Jefferson $33.76, 10% diff for evening/nights, no weekend diff

- Christiana $28.15, 15% diff for nights, 10% weekends, 20% 11p-7a

- CHOP $27.50, $4 evening diff, $2.50 weekend diff, $5.50 weekend nights

- Einstein $30, 10% night diff, no weekend diff

- Hahnemann $30.75, 12% night diff, $2 weekend diff

Keep in mind that Jefferson pays one of the highest wages for new grads, but they have no clinical ladder and pay doesn't increase as much over time compared to some of the hospitals.

Would love to find out about Temple and Penn.

OK I found out more...

- Penn $27.25 (something like that), IDK about diff, but automatic $13 raise at 18 months

- Temple $33 as of last year, automatic raise for going off orientation and yearly increase means $3-4 raise within first year, raises go in effect in October

Specializes in MICU.

Einstein also has 10% differential for weekend and can anybody please explain what mid point rate of pay is?

Specializes in EMT since 92, Paramedic since 97, RN and PHRN 2021.

Is that penn amount a typo? 13 dollar raise after a year and a half?

I work at christiana and it is 15% for evening and 20% for 11pm to 7am and there is also another 10% differential for weekend. So new grad that works night shift here gets like $36/hr.

Nope, not a typo. My friend just got hired at HUP. They start pretty low compared to other hospitals, but there is a clinical ladder, and I guess when you get bumped up to Clinical Nurse II you get a pretty steep raise. Kinda nice if you are happy enough in your first position to stay that long.

Are there any updates to these salaries?
