CAL U- RN to BSN program

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

I just applied to Cal U's RN to BSN program and I was wondering if anyone could share their experience. It seems to be a pretty popular program. I'm curious to know: How long does Cal U take to process appliations and send out acceptance letters? What day are classes held and can you take more than two nursing courses per semester? Thanks!

Hi tokidoki7,

Did you end up going to CAL U's RN to BSN program? If so, did you like it? Is there anything you can tell me about it? Thank you!

I am applying to cal-u for the spring semester. Can anyone please provide some of their experience feed back? I really can not find any actual reviews about their online RN to BSN program. In my search, I have however discovered that they do not have very good food available at their campus, and it is located with in a small town so the students are forced to party for entertainment. LOL not very helpful. Please respond! I would looooooooooove to hear from anyone!

I did their program, I completed it in 1.5 years and it was not too difficult. There was quite a bit of online work, which I liked and my in class classes were held at the CCAC South campus. I only had to go to the Cal U campus for graduation and I think I went down once before graduation to be inducted in a nursing honors organization that I belonged to briefly. I completed the program while working FT, going to school FT and raising kids so it was not an overwhelming amount of work. Not as bad as the 2 year program at CCAC. Getting the BSN was much easier than getting the ASN.

Generic UserName,

You mentioned going to in-class classes. Do they have a 100% online option? I live out of state and won't be able to make it to an actual campus. Also, do they require any clinical days and/or practicums in the community/place of work? Thank you in advance.

I just finished Cal-u's RN-BSN online program, I applied in July 2015 got accepted contingent upon passing my NCLEX within 1 months. After passing my NCLEX I was accepted into the program 13 days later. So I took my program 100% online, so Im not able to help with what "days" classes are
